How It All Began ...
As a young girl, I grew up with a mother who was forever in her kitchen creating all sorts of scrummy food for parties and celebrations.
When I was 17 I attended Eggleston Hall in County Durham achieving a diploma in Cordon Bleu cookery. Inspired by childhood memories of the most amazing birthday cakes Mum made for me and a desire to want to recreate these memories for my own children, I trained with Debbie Brown, famous for her Novelty Cakes, in 2006.
Since then I haven't looked back. Challenging myself to design and create cakes that have the X factor is very exciting, but WOW-ing someone on their special day is the icing on the cake!
